Portarlington Grand Hotel
The magnificent Portarlington Grand Hotel has overlooked Portarlington since 1888.
Reviving a historic heritage hotel
There is much excitement in the air as the hotel undergoes a multi-million-dollar renovation, including the addition of 18 boutique rooms and stunning food and drink spaces.
With plans to open this coming Summer, the design, by Melbourne based architects Technē, has been carefully considered to respect the heritage character of the hotel, whilst providing a venue that will cater for locals and visitors to the Bellarine Peninsula.
Just 70-minutes with Port Phillip Ferries from Melbourne’s docklands, the new Portarlington Grand Hotel will serve as the gateway to Victoria’s best-kept secret, offering beaches, nature and some of the state’s best locally produced food and wine.
The renovation includes the introduction of 18 elegant, heritage inspired rooms positioned across two levels, with many featuring balconies and bay views.
The Atrium, The Lawn, Bistro and Front Bar will serve up and celebrate the region’s best produce across the four dining spaces, including famous Portarlington Mussels harvested from local waters and top drops from local wineries and distilleries from the Bellarine Peninsula.
