Kanana is an iconic pre-war commercial aircraft which recently found a home at Melbourne Jet Base.

It is one of the few remaining aircraft of its kind immaculately restored to its original glory by the team at the Ansett Historical Aircraft Society.
Kanana was built in Santa Monica, California in 1938 and was transported to Australia via ship. Since then, Kanana has experienced a long and eventful life.
On display at Melbourne Jet Base, Kanana will have the opportunity to connect new generations of Australians to the country’s rich aviation history.
